Tour program:


Part 1: Sightseeing tour of Tbilisi


1. Pushkin Square — let's start our tour from the place where the great Russian poet loved to walk. We will walk along the picturesque streets, enjoying the views of the old town.


2. Ancient excavations of the 11th-13th century city wall — here, under the highway, the remains of the ancient city wall are hidden, which will reveal interesting facts about the history of Tbilisi.


3. The Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater is a world—famous puppet theater that will not leave you indifferent. Here art comes to life in every doll.


4. Anchiskhati Church (6th century) — the oldest church in Tbilisi, which used to house the uncreated image of Jesus Christ. This is one of the most revered places in the city.


5. Residence of the Patriarch of Georgia — we will visit the residence of the Catholicos, the holy and influential spiritual leader of Georgia.

9. Meydan Square and Leselidze and Chardin streets are the most famous streets of Tbilisi, which are saturated with the history and atmosphere of the old city.


10. Narikala City Citadel (4th century) — visit one of the oldest fortresses in Georgia with stunning views of the city.


11. Abanotubani — the area of sulfur baths — the famous area where Tbilisi was born. Here you will feel the spirit of the old town and will be able to see the picturesque buildings.


12. Legvtakhevi (Fig Gorge) is a place with an amazing waterfall, where the nature of Tbilisi reveals itself in its most beautiful form.


13. Metekhi Temple (11th century) — an ancient temple that was surrounded by a prison for political prisoners.


14. Sameba Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, which completes our trip around Tbilisi.


Part 2: Trip to Mtskheta


1. Svetistskhoveli Cathedral (XI century) — the main temple of Mtskheta and one of the largest cathedrals in Georgia. The chiton of Jesus Christ is kept here, and this place is the spiritual center of the country.


2. Jvari Temple (6th—7th century) - located on a mountain, overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers, this monastery is the most important architectural monument of Georgia.
